The most traditional footwear fair in the world, which goes to its 100th edition between January 13 and 16, will receive 60 Brazilian brands. The yellow-green participation in Expo Riva Schuh, which takes place in Riva del Garda/Italy, is supported by Brazilian Footwear, a program to promote the export of footwear maintained by the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalçados) in partnership with the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and investments (ApexBrasil).

The Relationship Coordinator of Abicalçados, Aline Maldaner, points out that the Brazilian delegation, as traditionally occurs, will be one of the largest at the event. "Expo Riva Schuh is one of the world's leading shoe fairs. Highly internationalized, with exhibitors from 41 countries and visitors from more than 100 countries, the show is characterized by the high volume marketed on site. We have very positive expectations for this start of international participations in 2024”, comments Aline, stressing that exports should play a fundamental role for the productive increase throughout 2024, estimated at more than 2%. Aline also points out that the communication efforts of the promoter have been more intense on the occasion of the celebrations of 100 editions. “The expectation is of a historic edition in terms of visitation”, adds the coordinator, highlighting that, on the second day of the event (14), a fraternization is planned between exhibitors, representative associations, the press and buyers.
